The ANUK/Unipiol National Codes are owned by a consortium consisting of three organisations:
The Accreditation Network UK (ANUK) - is an umbrella organisation that aims to promote the positive aspects of accreditation schemes and diseminates materials/information to help support the creation and on-going work of such schemes;
The National Union of Students (NUS) - the representative body for students in the UK;
Unipol Student Homes - a not-for-profit student housing organisation which operates accreditation schemes for off-street student accommodation (generally owned and managed by private landlords) in Bradford, Leeds and Nottingham; Unipol also operates a similar scheme with a company called Accommodation for Students which covers off-street properties in a number of other towns and cities throughout the UK. Unipol also administers the National Codes on behalf of the consortium
